Who We Are

Business and Professional Women (BPW) of Barrie is a non-sectarian, non-profit, non-partisan organization which promotes the interests of working women in our community and around the world. BPW Barrie has been chartered within the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW Canada) since June 6, 1946, and seeks to develop the business, professional and leadership potential of women through advocacy, education, mentoring, networking, skill-building, and economic empowerment programs and projects.

BPW Barrie holds monthly meetings on the second Tuesday evening of most months at either the BDAR Regional Hub, 676 Veterans Drive, or the Knowles Woolsey RE/MAX Office, 112 Caplan Avenue. These meetings usually begin at 6pm with networking and light refreshments, followed by an informative guest speaker at 7pm, and our business meeting at 8pm. Guests are welcome to attend up to two meetings and are then invited to become a BPW member.

BPW Barrie is committed to inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibilty, and providing a warm welcome to all persons who share our goals and objectives.
